Mick's Serious Accident in Oz

Mick Jardine is originally from Glasgow and married an Irish girl, Caroline McCormack, from Navan. 

After the loss of Carolines beloved sister Michelle to Leukemia, in search of a fresh start for their family, Caroline and Mick emigrated to Australia 2 years ago with their two children Louis (6) and Florence (almost 4).

We learned the terrible news today that Mick has had a serious accident at work.   He was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital Sydney. He has suffered 35% burns to his body - mainly his face, chest, arms and hands.   He is in a medically induced coma.

Mick is self employed, as a welding contractor.  While we don't have the full prognosis yet, he has a long road to recovery ahead of him.  

Mick and Caroline worked so hard to get to Australia and set up their new lives there.  

We are extremely lucky to be able to start this page today, so that Mick and Carolines very wide circle of friends, family and community can help to make sure that Mick gets the treatment he needs and can focus on getting better 100% without having to worry about his family.

We are praying that Mick makes a full and speedy recovery, and that this accident does not mean the end of their new life, that they worked so hard for, in Australia.

Everyone who knows Mick knows he is a happy go lucky chap, who would do anything for his family.  Any help you can give to help them out at this awful time would be so much appreciated.

This is our call to all of you, to allow Caroline and the children to worry about the important thing here, which is to get Mick back to 100%.
