Michelle Hutchinson Memorial Fund

This fund has been established to honor the life of Michelle Hutchinson, to help cover expenses related to a memorial and provide a scholarship fund for her young daughter, Taylor.  Michelle was a champion for the Hartland community and for Education.  An active member of the Hartland Board of Education, she also volunteered in the Reaching Higher program, PTO and many other committees to serve the youth in our community.  As a single mother, Michelle dedicated her life to serving the children in our community.  Michelle had a zest for life, was perpetually optimistic, filled the world with positivity, love and encouragement. Michelle saw every moment as an opportunity to positively impact the lives of others.  If she encountered someone who seemed grumpy, she said it was an opportunity to give them a compliment and a smile to help turn their day around. Michelle saw the very best in everyone. Michelle passed away after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.  Michelle is survived by her 14 yr. old daughter, Taylor, her 25 yr. old son, Keenan,  her parents Joan and Ron Hutchinson,  her brother Michael Hutchinson, many aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and many friends.  As Michelle was a champion for the education of the children in our community, I have established this fund to provide for the education of her daughter.  The family is deeply thankful for your donations and grateful for the many posts and memories of how Michelle has impacted so many lives.  
Michelle did not wish to have a formal funeral, instead a memorial celebration of her life will take place this summer.
