Michael's campaign for Diabetes UK

On September 14th 2019 I will be participating in a sprint triathlon,
which involves a 750m swim, 22km cycle and 5k run for a personal
achievement of finishing my first triathlon. In doing so, I hope to raise awareness of the complications for people living and managing Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus.


"At least 10350 people in the UK have end stage kidney failure because of their diabetes, and more than 1700 people have their sight seriously affected by their diabetes every year in the UK." (Diabetes UK, 2019)
