On the afternoon of Sunday, January 13, 2019, Michael Adu collapsed while going to support a friend at an athletic event in College Park, Maryland, and could not be resuscitated.
Michael passed away at the young age of 37. We do not know why the Lord allowed him to rest at this time, but we hold on to the hope that we will see him again. He is survived by his wife Marie, children Madison and Micah, parents John and Gillian, brothers Caleb and Joseph, sister Yasmina, sisters-in-law Toula and Kahmilah, and nieces Isabelle and Madeline. He is preceded in death by his mother Dorcas.
Michael will be forever remembered by numerous extended family and dear friends. Because Michael had a preexisting condition he was unable to qualify for life insurance.
