Hi Friends & Family,
Roughly two weeks ago we were blindsighted by the news that our beloved Mica has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will be undergoing treatment immediately.
To the parents of Out Came the Sun Daycare, you know that Mica has been an amazing woman, friend and teacher to so many of our children. It's our turn to reciprocate the support she has given to so many over the years.
To those who don't know Mica as well, she is a selfless daughter, sister, girlfriend, friend and teacher. She has spent her life giving, giving, giving.
For the last 10 years, Mica & Rosa, her mother, have been running a home daycare in San Leandro, where they've effectively raised well over 100 children.
Mica is light in these children's lives, as she is in the lives of her friends & family.
She now needs us to be lights in hers.
On behalf of her friends and family, let's rally together to help with her upcoming expenses.
The money raised here will go towards her medical expenses, i.e. chemotherapy & surgical procedures, as well as a substitute for Mica at Out Came the Sun Daycare while she recovers.
This is the start of her journey and we will continue to update you all as we move forward.
