Help MHS ProStart attend Nationals!

McMinnville High School's 2017 ProStart Championship team would love your support as we prepare for the The National ProStart Invitational in Charleston, South Carolina next weekend! This ProStart team is the first ever from McMinnville to win this coveted title! We depart April 26th and compete the morning of April 30th.

Rules require the students to compose a menu of two identical plates (appetizer, entree, and dessert) using two gas burners in under 60 minutes...without the use of running water and electricity!! We have dedicated numerous hours practicing our menu which is very expensive, to say the least! With the team's goal of earning a place in the top 5 of 50 competing teams...this is where we need your help!

Although the Oregon Restaurant and Lodging Association has covered the cost of our airfare and hotel accommodations we are still below our necessary monetary goal. Since we are required to transport all of our local and specialty ingredients and equipment used to prepare our menu, uniforms, and other supplies clear to Charleston, SC we still need to cover costs of ground transportation, food, and shipping.
