Nathans Fight against Neuroblastoma
El jueves 26 de octubre de 2016, Nathan Mora, de 7 años de edad, fue diagnosticado de cáncer Neuroblastoma en la Etapa Cuatro. Un tumor grande fundado en su abdomen es la causa de la enfermedad. El cáncer se ha extendido a su médula ósea y huesos.
El tratamiento de Nathans comenzó en el Hospital de Niños Millers en Long Beach, California. El tumor está empujando contra su riñón, hígado, páncreas, columna vertebral y estómago, causando complicaciones con estos órganos vitales.
Después de cuatro rondas de intensas quimioterapias, los médicos de Miller se dan cuenta de que el tumor está siendo refractario (resistente) a las quimioterapias. Sin perder tiempo, el tratamiento de Nathan es trasladado al Children Hospital Los Angeles en Los Angeles, California.
Aquí, en CHLA, Nathan está inscrito en un programa de Medicina de Prueba. Las quimioterapias y la medicina de prueba combinadas son muy intensas y dolorosas, pero el pequeño Nathan es un verdadero héroe y nunca se queja de ello. Siempre está positivo y con una gran sonrisa en su rostro. Los doctores y las enfermeras aman a Nathan porque él está siempre de buen humor y coopera con los tratamientos.
La madre de Nathan, Mónica, antes del diagnóstico de su hijo, trabaja a tiempo completo como asistente dental. Monica tubo que dejar su trabajo y dedicarse a tiempo completo a la atención de Nathan. Ahora, sin ninguna fuente de ingresos, Monica está luchando con facturas y gastos diarios tales como renta, alimentos y gasolina. Ella, también tiene otra hija, Amy, ella tiene diez años y va a la escuela.

Nathans treatment started at Millers Children Hospital in Long Beach, California. The tumor is laying against his kidney, liver, pancreas, spine and stomach, causing Nathan complications with this vital organs.
After four rounds of intense chemotherapies, doctors at Miller's realize the tumor is being refractory (resistant) to the chemotherapies. Without losing any value time, Nathan treatment is transfer to Children Hospital Los Angeles in Los Angeles, California.
Here, at CHLA, Nathan is enrolled in a Trail Medicine program. The chemotherapies and the trail medicine combined are very intense and painful, but little Nathan is a real hero and never complains about it. He's always with a positive vibe and with a big smile on his face. Doctors and nurses love Nathan because he's always in a good move and cooperates with the treatments.
Nathan's mother, Monica, before her child diagnosis, works full time as a dental assistant. She had to leave her job and dedicate full time to Nathan's care. Now, without any source of income, Monica is struggling with bills and daily expenses like food and gas. She, also had another daughter, Amy, she has ten years old and goes to school.
Chemotherapy, surgeries, and additional treatment will take months, so your donations play a vital role in helping Nathan fight for his life.
