Help Adriana's Brain Tumor Fund

Adriana Marie Bowland has spent her first 13 months of life as a  happy normal healthy baby. Spending her days playing with her big sister, 6 year old Brooke and awaiting her turn in becoming a big sister to her new sibbling to arrive in just 6 weeks. Her life changed abruptly when it was noticed that she was becoming weak on the left side of her body. Her parents took her to Children Hospital in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania  on February 9th where it was discover that there was a large  tumor on the right side of her brain. She was admitted to the ICU and scheduled for surgery on February 11th. The wonderful Surgeons  are confident that the majority of the tumor was removed. Adriana'a post surgery status has exceeded everyone's expectation's. it is safe to say that she won that battle with flying colors. However the extent of the war is  unknown as  her family still await the return of the biopsy and prognosis. Adriana is in need of speech, occupational; and physical therapy to help her strenghten the weakened  muscles in the left side. Her parents have not left her side, they both been there day and night. Mom and Dad are preparing to bring their third child into the world, therefore Mom will not be returning to work for sometime, Dad will be taking off much work to be there for his family with the birth and the extensive test Adriana will need. It is a reality that this journey has just begun for everyone involved.
