Help Type1 Children of Bristol

My name is Nicole and for people that don't know me I have a son called Harley who has Type 1 Diabeties. Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that causes the insulin producing beta cells in the pancreas to be destroyed, preventing the body from being able to produce enough insulin to regulate blood glucoses.
Which mean having daily injections or an insulin pump for life.
What my son and so many other children (and adults) have to go through on a daily basis is not nice injections, multiple blood tests as well as dealing with hypos and hypers (low and high blood sugars) which can very dangerous and make them very poorly.
I think it amazing what the people do to raise money for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.) to help find a cure for our babies but what I am trying to do is help the children in Bristol with type 1 Diabeties make there lives just a little bit easier dealing with this condition.
So here is where I ask for your help I'm going to be doing a 5K mud run on the 1st July and a sky dive (sometime this summer) in the hope to raise money to help fund a hba1c monitor for the children's hospital and southmead hospital which will give our children just a little break of one of the horrible things they have to do.
HbA1c blood glucose test for diabetes is an important average measure of how well a person's diabetes is being controlled over the previous 2 to 3 months. So every 3 months as parents we have to fill a sample pot of a minimum of 2ml of blood which may not sound a lot but when you have to prick multiple fingers and squeeze them to try and catch droplets of blood in the pot can be very challenging and frustrating as parent but distressing and painful for the children with this machine I'm trying to help raise money for there hba1c can be tested by one single droplet of blood which is just like a normal blood test they have to do daily so won't be as horrible for them.
So all I ask is if you would like to donate and help me on my crazy adventure to help the children of Bristol with type 1 Diabeties or if you could share this around to friend and family I would be so greatful.
