MGM Dominican Republic trip

Every year Portersville Christian School teams up with Meeting God in Missions (gomgm.org) to go to the Dominican Republic. MGM is a christian organization that helps organize mission trips. We have always wanted to have an opportunity to go on a mission trip and reach out to the other people in the world. We are excited to be a part of this outreach.
PCS brings supplies for medical and optometric care. They also do a vacation bible school with the children. At the end of the trip last year, Austin was touched to be able to leave his clothing with the young people there who were in need. He noted that there were even people who had strapped bottles to their feet for shoes. We are anticipating that we will also be leaving belongings behind in an effort to help these people who are living in such poor conditions.
We're excited to look at the world beyond just ourselves. There are so many people in the world who need our help and we cannot wait to experience this, and with Austin as a trip with him for his senior year in high school.
