“I thought I was going to die...”

On December 8, 2019, a 13 year old and her family were assaulted by a knife and weapon. This 13 year old was our friend and when we heard this news we were all devastated. It was one of the strongest people we had met in our lives, and just like that she was in the hospital. She was stabbed 16 times, however, none of her vital organs were stabbed as her family and her were able to defend themselves. This girl is an amazing person and she was even able to keep herself laughing and smiling on her hospital bed. However, this was a traumatic experience that a person has to endure, especially when your family is affected. Donating to this campaign would allow us to help their family out by paying for the surgery, or even just taking them somewhere to relax. You often don''t really realize the severeness of something until it happens to you, is what I often hear others say. I didn't realize how much truth was in it until it actually happened to one of our close friends. Normally, this thing is heard on the news, and we don't really think much of it. But now that I know this feeling, I think of all the others that have gone through this experience as well and think that we should share their stories as well. Please share  this with everyone for a chance that someone can share their story and we can honor these people as well. Thank you very much!
