Greetings, your "March for Science - Denver" Coordinators here.
On April 14, we will continue to use the momentum of last year’s march to hold our political leaders accountable for passing equitable, evidence-based policies that serve all people and all communities. Last year's March drew over 20,000 people to Denver in support of advancing science in our community – we've come a long way towards making this event happen again!
Our date is set, and we have some strict deadlines to meet, regarding the following:
-ASL interpreter and accessibility ($400)
-Electricity ($75)
-Event Insurance ($4,850)
-Event Permits ($3,700)
-Event equipment (tables rentals, promotional materials, radios, etc) ($5,500)
-Port-a-Potties ($4,550)
-Sound Equipment ($2,700)
-Trash and recycling ($1,500)
Please support March for Science–Denver; every dollar goes to putting on the March and science outreach in the community!
We are still seeking Volunteers for the day of the event. You can fill out a form on our website to sign up as a volunteer or host a teach-in booth at www.marchforsciencedenver.com
