MFP Resource Center Furnaces

Donation protected
We are the Mukwonago Food Pantry/MFP Resource Center. Established in 1989 as a emergency food pantry over the years we have expanded to two buildings. One to house food, and the other for human service programs. All food and services are provided free of charge to a community service area of 24 thousand households.
We are in immediate need of two new furnaces at our MFP Resource Center. Both heat exchangers failed and are unpairable and must be replaced before water pipes freeze. Furnances are being replaced on December 17th and will be finished by the 23rd of December.

The MFP Resource Center currently houses Eagle's Wing Free Health Clinic, Energy Services and does programs that assist seniors and those with disabilities.  Starting in June of 2016, the building will be open Monday-Friday for a new program for young adults with disabilities age 21 and over.
The donations not only helps us to stay open, but to move forward into the future. Both buildings are completely paid for. Our community area churches and organizations have helped us to do repairs and to paint both outside and inside of the MFP Resource Center. Our only costs are maintanence and now replacement of these two heating and cooling units.  In January 2015 we were able to replace one heating and cooling unit. We still have a total of 8 units to replace, but these units were able to be repaired to last a few more years.

We are asking for donations totalling $18,020 to cover the two units currently being installed. Any additional donations will be put towards replacing the other 8 units whose total cost is $72,080.

Donations over $1,000 will be put on a plaque in the lobby of the MFP Resource Center at 225 Eagle Lake Ave, Mukwonago, WI 53149.

All donations are appreciated and will recieve a reciept as we are 501 ( c ) 3 non profit.  www.mukwonagofoodpantry.org
