2018 Montana Folk Festival
Tax deductible
With the overwhelming success of the 2017 Montana Folk Festival this past July 7-9, we have committed to commence planning for the 2018 (the 8th) Montana Folk Festival in Butte, Montana next July 13-15.
We need to raise $650,000 in the next six months to ensure that we can bring the performers, pay for their travel and lodging, the sound and staging for six stages, and to arrange for the tents, golf carts and other basic components of such a spectacular event.
If the best way to eat an elephant is one bite at at time, it is time to start nibbling, so we are again asking for your help long ahead of the opening remarks and first performance of the 2018 Montana Folk Festival.
This essential support, which is a tax-deductible contribution, will help to match our efforts to attract grants and sponsorships to reach our overall goal of $650,000.
We will keep you posted here on our progress as we get closer as well as on our web site at www.montanafolkfestival.com and on our facebook page at www.facebook.com/mtfolkfest.
Your support means everything to us. Each year we look to see if that support is there, to see if we should continue this adventure, and if it is, as it has been all along, we go on. This will be our eleventh adventure.
The table has been set, and the pachyderm has been prepared, so please grab a plate and let the feast begin.
