Hi, my name is Jay and I'm a recovered Crystal Meth (ICE) addict. I'm 2 years clean after a 5 year addiction that took over my life. I'm also the Creator of Meth FX the movie; we aim to give you an in-depth look inside the dark world of ICE with the hope of educating and preventing young people from taking the same destructive path I did.
I don't have Australia's worst ICE story. Many people have had it worse off than me and are doing it or did it harder. ICE doesn't discriminate. It can take anyone from any walk of life. No matter what your race, colour, age or religion.
If you take ICE you run the risk of losing everything, and I mean everything.
That's why I created Meth FX, a feature length docudrama movie to raise awareness and educate about the incredible dangers of using Crystal Meth.
My reasons and intenions for making this film are simple. I have suffered immensely at the hands of a cruel dark crystal meth addicion which took away more than just time from me.
I am only now just starting to awaken from what feels like a nightmare.
Crystal Meth is a cold-hearted substance that tears the best hearts away from their loved ones and will bend the morals of the most honest soul.
I have a passion to strip the veil off this dark, violent and seedy world that lurks in every shadow. I wish to reveal the real hurt and suffering that this drug causes and show it on the screen so that it really sinks in that this substance is not something to take lightly nor is there anything recreational about it.
I have a clear vision and the calling in me to do this film is getting stronger every day.
My producer, Evette Henderson, lost her 25-year-old nephew to drug abuse.

FILMING STAGE 1:
We have already raised $1,750 and the $5,000 raised here will complete the budget needed to complete filiming stage 1. This includes filming: two re-enactment scenes, interviewing a leading expert on Crystal Meth, real live footage and testimonials from people who have also suffered.
From this shoot we will create a 3-minute teaser to be released on our Facebook page and a condensed 10-20 minute version of the feature length to pitch to networks for full funding. To be released 2017.
Costs involved: cast, crew, catering, travel, equipment, editing, insurance, wardrobe.
We will be updating you regularly on our progress here as well as via our Facebook page and the website .
