It all looked good for our bold adventurer. He acquired what wealth he needed to finally start a business for himself after a lifetime of wandering and adventuring. One that would provide a safe haven and entertainment for the citizens of his homeland. A location was discovered for this venue, and secured with a passing of funds and many signatures. But then out of nowhere they struck! The city handed him a decree that stated in order to provide such a fine location for the variety of games he wished to share with the city he must first present them with money. Surely he knew the city would want its share but 5,000 was much more than he bargained for! What was he to do? There were no more loans to be had and not enough left in his coffers to placate the cities desire for wealth. He despaired, his vision so close to fruition, was naught to be. It was then that he realized that the very folk he wished to serve may be his salvation. For in assisting him they assist themselves. What ever they would be willing to assist with would bring him one step closer to providing all with a variety of games, electronic, board, role playing, and more! Yes, the wonderful people themselves may rise up with him and say, “no, you do not get to end what has yet to begin! We will have this new safe haven, we will have this Metagame!!”
Join me my fellow adventurers! Noble paladins, sneaky rogues, wielders of the decks of Magic, trainers of the Pocket Monsters, wizards of the electronic arcades, and all you others! Raise the goal of 10,000.00 and tell the city that though it may ask much of us, it will not stop us, and we will have our Metagame!!!
