Mental Health Bali

In September 2019 I will be travelling to Bali for 1 month with SLV Global as part of a mental health scheme. This will involve supporting activities for people at all stages of recovery and improving certain skills, teaching English in order to arm students with a linguistic skill, taking part in after-school clubs for children who are often held back and marginalised by poverty and circumstance, special education activity support and community outreach. Therefore, as volunteers we are given the opportunity to learn about how mental illness is treated in Bali and this also allows us to spread positive mental health. The money that I raise will allow me to be trained with vital skills before I embark on this adventure and will also allow for homestay accommodation, support, professional reference and a donation to the SLV.Global Mental Health Fund. I have one year to raise this money and will be taking part in fund raising activities throughout the year, I would be so grateful for any small donation. Thank you!
