Mending Broken Brett

On August 10th Brett was involved in a horrible accident in his work truck.   His truck rolled 4 times and Brett was ejected from the vehicle.  He has suffered extensive injuries from the accident.  Brett, his wife Jaclyn and seven children live nearly 2 hours from the hospital where Brett is being cared for.  We are raising funds to help cover gas, food and housing while Brett is in the hospital.  He is expected to be in the UCI for the at least 4 weeks.

Brett's family is due to grow any day as Jaclyn is expecting their 8th child in a few weeks.  Being a family of 9 life is busy for Brett and Jaclyn.  The majority of normal family life and caring for Brett has landed on Jaclyn's shoulders.  The kids will be starting school on Wednesday which will be adding to daily her commute and driving time.   

Brett's injuries were extensive, he has bi-lateral facial fractures, his shoulder was broken and dislocated, a stage 3 liver laceration, broken back, a skull aberration with four large hematomas on his left side and torn ligaments in his leg.  Brett has a long road of recovery ahead of him.  He will be undergoing multiple surgeries to recover from his injuries and will be looking at years of recovery.  Please help us support this amazing family during Brett's recovery.
