Community Robotics Team

Memphis Mech-Warriors is the first ever community robotics team that works out of Cloud 901 at the Memphis, TN Public Library. We are competeting in the FIRST Robotics Competition, STEAMWorks in March. Our team is building a machine to enter the competition that we hope one day could potentially change the world.

Of course it takes money to compete, and that is where we need your help.

We  need $5,000 for robot parts and  travel expenses to get to the regional competitions, which are in Little Rock, AR and Chicago, IL. Being a community team means that we are open to all students, public, private and home school.

For us, this competition isn't just about robots. It's about dedication, determination, hard work and collaboration. It’s a roadmap that leads straight to careers in engineering and breaking down cultural barriers.
