April McCarthey Villegas Family

The morning of December 1st, 2017, our family lost our beautiful, magical, special April Mccarthey Villegas. We know she put up a good fight for so long and is no longer in pain. It doesn't make the pain of losing her any easier for the people she left behind. 

We are asking for any donations to help my family (her husband, daughters, and her 8 grandchildren). We want to put her to rest.  We are so thankful for all the prayers, love and support we are receiving. 

We love you Auntie April. We miss you.

April Dawn McCarthey Villegas, age 54, beloved wife to Carlos Villegas, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 1st, 2017, in her home after a long, hard battle with her many illnesses.  On this morning our family lost our beautiful, magical and special Wife, Mother, Sister and Daughter. We Know she put up a good fight for so long and is no longer in pain, but It doesn’t make the pain of losing her any easier for the people she left behind. She is survived by her Mother Judy Tallwing McCarthey, Father David McCarthey Sr, 4 Children; Amber, Annette, Autumn, and Daniel, 8 Grandchildren; Christopher, Faith, Layla, Ashton, Elijah, Adan and The Twins Brighid, Avery, Uncle Jim Cobb, Sisters; May, Fernalee, Sarah, ERA, Daisy, Charlette, Charlene and Brother David Jr., Nieces; Amanda, Aura, Tora, Callista, Nephews; Jonathan, Joshua, Jay, Leo, Jacob and Grand Niece; Macy.

 April’s childlike heart, full of love and laughter along with her love of music, horses, cats and children warmed everyone around her. She will be missed dearly by all. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 8th beginning 9am at Best Funeral Services (501 E Dunlap Ave.) We ask that only immediate family members attend the viewing from 9am-10am. 10am-1pm will be regular services and all are welcome. Immediately following the service there will be a short graveside service at West Rest Haven Park (6450 W Northern Ave.) A celebration of April’s life will follow the services and will be held at her home (3502 W Ironwood Dr) There will be food and drinks.
