Memorial funds for Sakatani family

Jennifer was incredibly sweet, exceptionally kind, and above all she loved children. She was a wonderful human being who cared deeply for her family, friends, and her students. On December 9th, 2017, she unexpectedly passed away, and we lost an incredible person.

Jen and Joe were joyously waiting for the birth of their baby boy, Tyler who was due very soon on December 27th.  As many of you may know, Tyler was a gift to Jen and Joe because they had wanted a child for a long time but had trouble conceiving. When they found out Jen was pregnant, they were ecstatic. Jen loved children, and she would have been an amazing mother.

On the night of December 9th, 2017, Jen suffered from shortness of breath and pain in her chest.  Joe was with her, comforted her, and tried to ease her pain.  Her breathing became labored, and she stopped breathing. Joe administered CPR and called 911.  Jen died that night at the hospital.

Baby Tyler is in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and breathing through a respirator. He became oxygen deprived when Jen fell ill.  Joe is with Baby Tyler during these difficult times and comforts him with thoughts of Jen.  Tyler's prognosis is unknown and precarious at this time.  Please pray for his well-being and recovery.

We love Jen and Joe.  We will miss Jen greatly while we pray and hope for the best for Baby Tyler and Joe. Through this GoFundMe effort for Joe, we hope to help in any way in his current circumstances whether it is for Jen's memorial expenses or Baby Tyler's medical expenses.

Your donation is greatly appreciated.
