Memorial for Nova

Nova was one of the sweetest people you could ever meet. She loved her adoptive family and her friends more than most love their own flesh and blood. She was someone who was able to find the good in people even if she really didn't want to. Most of all she has such a powerful testimony for her love for Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior.
She came to us from a very rough beginning that we couldn't begin to comprehend. She had just recently became a US citizen, was looking forward to being fully adopted by the one who had raised her these past 8 years, and was going to be married this coming June.
Tragically, Nova was killed in car accident around 1:15pm on December 28, 2018 as she was on her way to work. She was a very careful driver but lost control of her vehicle during a sudden, slippery day in an unusually warm December in Michigan. Though we know she is at home with Jesus, she will terribly missed by those that remain. She has a way of being a blessing to all she encountered. Unfortunately, Nova didn't have any life insurance and her church family would like to do all we can to help pay for memorial/funeral expenses and to help her grieving family as they lay their beloved daughter, sister, and friend to rest. All proceeds raised will go to Chuck & Joann Lebaron (her papa & mama as she called them) to help with this difficult time.
