My name is Shawna Bloemer. I am reaching out on behalf of my family to honor the memory of my niece, Kirsten McElroy.
Kirsten enjoyed Taylor Swift, Little Mix, and Cardinals Baseball. She loved her family, and she lit up the room with her amazing personality. Real Stars Baseball provided Kirsten a chance to engage with others in the community, and watching her approach the plate to bat (accompanied by Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off”) was a true sight to behold.
However, Kirsten unexpectedly passed away Saturday. This has been devastating to our family, and the loss of Kirsten has been overwhelming. No one should have to plan a funeral for a 20-year-old woman. This reality is heartbreaking.
