Memorial for Jacob Albaeck

We're mourning the sudden loss of a much beloved husband, father and friend in Jacob Albaeck. He passed away in his sleep on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2019. He served honorably in the U.S. Army, spending a year deployed to Iraq, and being medically retired as a sergeant upon his return home. With the bureaucracy of the VA, it may be up to a year before Jenne and his five children (Christopher, Nick, Ben, Lexie and Ellie) begin to see death benefits. Part of the GoFundMe is to help his family with immediate needs for the next 12 months. The rest of the GoFundMe is to go to a cause that was near and dear to Jacob's heart -- Wounded Warrior Project. This phenomenal organization provided many wonderful opportunities for Jacob and his family in the wake of his medical retirement from the military. He would absolutely want those who can to contribute to this cause to help other injured and wounded veterans and their families. We love you all and appreciate your words of support and love in this incredibly difficult time.
