Memorial For Darius "Bubby" Minor

Our family has suffered the devastating loss of our much loved Darius "Bubby" Minor. His loss is not only felt within our family, but throughout the whole community. Anyone who met him would remember his loving bubbly personality. His smile was infectious. If you were sad or upset he could always cheer you up. He was always positive, uplifting and gave great advise to all that needed a boost or encouragement.
He played many sports while attending Orange County Public Schools. He played many positions for Orange County High School's football team. He was a great asset to the team. Through his sports career he received many awards and trophies. He had many colleges wanting him to come play for them. He was so excited and with much appreciation accepted a full ride offer from the University of Maine.
He was less than three weeks into his freshman summer football training at the University of Maine when only 15 minutes into a supervised workout he collapsed on the field. After major attempts to save him, they were sadly unsuccessful. We, as a family, are devastated and all that knew him are grieving with us.
He was raised by a single mother who needs our help to give him the proper burial he deserves. Please help us, help her. Any donation in any amount would be greatly appreciated. Funeral expenses are one less stress we'd like to take away for her.
