Memorial Bench and Celebration day

Robin Roberts was a beautiful soul and a dear friend to many, he was larger than life and had a postitive effect on many peoples lives, with his warm heart and sunny personality.
Sadly we lost Robin in late April , which was a huge loss to everyone who knew and loved him.
In Robin's memory we have set up an event on his Birthday -Friday August the 24th, to celebrate his life. We are having a memorial bench hand made by his friends using locally sourced materials, which will be placed in Carmarthen Reservoir overlooking the upper pond. Later in the event we will be heading to Llansteffan beach to have a firework display, bonfire and get together.
This gofundme page has been set up to cover the costs of this event, the majority of the costs will go to the making of the bench and the installation of the base by the council.
The rest of the money will go towards entertainment for the day.
We have set a target of £1100 this will cover the majority of the costs and any extra will be donated to a charity chosen by Robins close ones, which is still to be decided, the charity chosen will be posted onto the event page at a later date.
If anyone has any queries on the allocation of funds we would like to be completly transparent about this, so feel free to message the admins (Ffion Lod or Sophie Louise Evans) of the event page on facebook, as we will be the ones in charge of the final expenses.
