Memorating Mireya

Hello, 

My name is Daysi Perez and on December 21st my mom, Mireya Jimenez, was admitted to the hospital with a ruptured aneurysm. After testing and emergency procedures, the doctors discovered she had 4 aneurysms in her brain and not just the one that had ruptured. Last night, my mother completed her final and third surgery. Doctors called it a miracle and I was not surprised in the slightest that my mom seemed to overcome this battle. Early this morning at 1 am, I received a phone call explaining that her brain had begun to swell, leaving her with out much time left. As my mother’s proxy and daughter, it was my job to make sure that she was taken care of accordingly and that she is honored in the way she deserves. Despite living with Multiple Sclerosis for 14 years,  my mom has always put the health and well-being of others before hers. Although she would never be the type of person to ask for help, I know that this is necessary to cover medical expenses and funeral costs that we had not been prepared for. Thank you in advance for all of your help and support during this difficult time.

Update: All funds that have been collected through everyone's kind donations will be going towards covering any of my mother's medical bills, and costs that were used for her memorial and funeral. Any of the donations which are left over will be placed in a savings account and will be used towards Reyna's, Mireya's youngest daughter, educational expenses. Daysi, Mireya's oldest daughter, will be taking care of all of the savings.
