IVF baby fund for Melissa & Alexie

First off, we would like to thank everyone for taking the time to visit this page that we have created to help two amazing people in their IVF journey. Here's a little glimps at their story.

How would you react if we tell you you have to pay $25,000 to be able to have a child ?  You would probably think this is unfair, however, Melissa and Alexie have already invested over $10,000 in the only hope to see the face of their long-awaited baby.

 
Melissa and Alexie have been together for 4 years, are engaged, and are now trying to start their own family which would be their dream come true. Trying to get pregnant for the past two years, they went through so many emotions; from excitement and happiness to deception and heartbreaks. But through it all, it brought them closer together and even more determined to persue their dream. However, they are now facing a new challenge : they would have to invest approximatly another $15,000 to continue their journey.

So far, all the expensive medication, mandatory appointments with psychologist and multiple fertility tests, they have had 8 insiminations for an 18% chance of conceiving, but have had no luck. After taking three months of thinking and considering other options, they are now opting for the in vitro-fertilization (IVF). The procedure is quite costly and is not covered, but would increase their chances of getting pregnant to 60%!

 
Realizing their struggles, we have decided to create this page in order to help them ease some of the financial stress that comes along with this process. Having gone through all their planned savings and bank loans, we are hoping to achieve the goal of $15,000 by October 28th, which is the expected date of the beginning of IVF procedures.
