Meghan Manzo Todd Medical Expenses Healing Fund

Dear Friends, Family, and Members of our Community,

As some of you may know, Meghan Todd, our selfless confidant and friend, devoted wife and mamma, and treasured daughter and sister, has been suffering for several months with a severe form of POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome)/Dysautonomia. POTS affects multiple organ systems, including the heart and brain. Meghan has been unable to stand, walk, or be upright much, do even minimal activity without passing out, due to lack of blood flow and oxygen to her brain. This syndrome also causes chronic pain and fatigue, migraines, neuropathy, muscle weakness, and other neurological symptoms. These painful symptoms of POTS combined with complications manifesting from a recent diagnosis of Lyme Disease and Lyme Co-Infections have completely impaired the actions of her daily life, her ability to work, care for her two children...rendering her mostly bed/homebound. Meghan has seen countless Physicians and Specialists from several fields, she has been through a myriad of tests, trialed many medications and other treatments, and thus far, her condition has continued to decline.

Meghan is preparing to embark on a journey of recovery with a new medical team that has offered her a defined path to health in the midst of all of this pain and uncertainty. This is the blessing that we have all been praying for. Her course of treatment will be a long and cautious process, and the large majority of these therapies are not covered by her insurance. She, however, must follow this path to wellness. The currently mounting medical bills and impending costs for her care are compounding to an already overwhelming situation.

I know we all cannot begin to cast back to the endless laughs, tears, and heartbreaks Meghan has gotten us through. She is a loving, caring, and unwaveringly loyal person, and now, she needs our help.
