We are raising money for our upcoming album release. We recorded an album in February and it came out better than we could've imagined. We want to give it a real chance to do something but in order to do that in this market, we need help.
I'm really excited about this new project Megg Farrell & Friends and I want to do everything I can to spread our music. We are first going on tour in July and I would like to rent a van so that I can bring a videographer with us on the road. Video is the key these days to getting a good following outside of your local market. Getting footage on tour is a gold mine, especially when we are playing country music and visiting cities like Nashville!
The largest thing we need to raise money for is a press campaign. We want to hire a real organization that can get us the placement I think this music deserves. Without a legitimate team behind us it is very hard to break into some of the bigger radio stations, websites, and magazines that we want to be talked about in.
So that is the basic rundown of what this campaign is for.
