Brokeass Relocating

A little over a month ago I applied for a photo retouching job in Mahwah, NJ. When I applied I was pretty much in the mindset of, "What the hell, they aren't going to hire me with my lack of degree and studio experience, but it doesn't hurt anything to apply." 

Well, I start that job on September 29th. :)

That's awesome, and I'm super excited to get up there and start, but there's one big problem: I have less than 3 weeks to get money together to cover the cost of relocating. 

I went back and forth on whether or not I should put this up, but ultimately I decided that it's worth it to try to cut back a chunk of the stress involved in making this work. We've already cut things down to be as cheap as possible (staying in a camper for 3 months during my probationary period instead of a hotel) but it's still a pretty decent chunk of money to come up with in such a small amount of time.

A decent bit of what we need to make the move is covered, but I'm really relying on paid shoots not flaking on me until I move, and anyone who has done freelance photography in this area will probably agree that that's setting my expectations unreasonably high. haha 

So, this is me asking people to be super awesome and help me get my ass to New Jersey to make the last 6 years of freelance work finally pay off.
