Surgery for Megan

Megan, wife of Riordan, mother of Noah, Kyah and Finley Cheatham has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. Although they are so incredibly thankful that it was caught early, they still have a long road ahead of them. They have prayerfully and diligently sought the right surgeons for a bilateral mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. God has been faithful to lead them to Dr. Wise and Dr. Ordoyne at the Center for Restorative Breast Surgery in New Orleans Louisiana. Unfortunately, because these doctor and hospital are out of state and out of network, insurance will only pay 20 % of the procedure.

They are completely overwhelmed by the love and encouragement they have received thus far. In addition, they recognize that many would love to help in a tangible way.

They ask first and foremost for prayer. Pray for healing, for a swift and smooth surgery and recovery, for the surgeons and nursing staff, for travel mercies, and for the children to feel safe and secure while Megan and Riordan are away.

Financial support toward Megan’s surgery and travel expenses would also be an enormous blessing them. Your generosity will also give them ease when considering any unexpected costs while fighting this battle.
The following is a verse that has comforted and sustained Megan during this journey. She thanks you for allowing the Lord to use your loving and generous hearts to be a “help” in their time of need.
