At the age of 22, just moments after giving birth to her beautiful son Aiden, Cheyenne suffered a severe seizure that almost ended her life. Within hours, she was on her way to the University of Kentucky where she diagnosed with an astrocytoma brain tumor. After a successful surgery, she was well on her way to living a wonderful life with her son – cancer free; however, after a routine scan in March of 2017, the doctors informed her the tumor was back, only this time it was a Grade 4 Glioblastoma tumor. A team of neurologists and oncologists have worked diligently together to provide her with the best possible survival rate. With that, she will be undergoing six straight weeks of chemotherapy and radiation in Lexington. As a friend to this amazing young lady, my prayer is that as a community we stand together – “Cheyenne Strong” – and support both Cheyenne and her family as she undergoes the expenses of her fight! The money will be used to cover transportation cost, her stay in Lexington, and necessary items needed throughout her treatment! Please remember Cheyenne in your prayers!!!
