Meek's CAMP Fire Survivors

Our Paradise & Chico community has been devastated by the CAMP fire. The fire has destroyed 80-90% of the Paradise community, and in turn affected so many families in Northern California.

We currently have 9 Meek's employees who have lost their homes and all of their possessions, and 3 who are waiting to hear whether or not their homes are still standing.

The stories coming from survivors of this fire are both terrifying and inspiring, and we want to do our part to make sure our Meek's family members are given the support they need to get back on their feet.

Housing options in Chico and surrounding areas are at a minimum, so employees are staying with family or friends until they can find a temporary residence. This is a process that may take months. 

Most employees don't have space to store donated items, so giving a few dollars to be spent on basic needs is the most effective way we can contribute. Once they are more established traditional donations of clothing and housewares will be very useful and very much appreciated.
