Medicine for Malawi

Malawi, one of the poorest countries in the world, is in desperate need of medical aid. Many people in Malawi do not have access to basic medications like antibiotics. Patients at Embangweni Mission Hospital are dying from easily treatable illnesses due to the lack of money. Help us provide funding to Embangweni Mission Hospital so they can afford the medications their patients desperately need. This hospital directly serves over 150,000 patients, yet only has one doctor.

We are a group of students who have been partnered with Embangweni Mission Hospital for the last 6 years working on solar installations. During our last visit in July 2018, it was clear to us that their needs were even more urgent than we had realized. The doctors were unable to treat their patients, because the hospital did not have the money to give their patients the medicine they needed.Your donations will go directly towards funding medications for individuals who otherwise would not be able to receive treatment, and will save many lives.

Your donations will go towards medical supplies and various medications such as these:
•Amoxicillin - antibiotic for treating numerous illnesses
•Metformin - diabetic medication
•Omeprazole - stomach acid reflux medication
•Syringes
