Please help Hunter get a new van!!!
Hunter's family is in the process of purchasing a new medical van for Hunter, as his current van is over 10 years old, no longer reliable and continues to require extensive/costly repairs, breaking down often. His van MUST be replaced as soon as possible, as their primary focus is safety/reliability for Hunter's transportation. All donations raised will help pay for this very much needed medical van!
In addition to needing to attend his regularly scheduled medical appointments, both in and out-of-state, Hunter simply wants to continue to enjoy his life/freedom, as you and I do, which requires safe/reliable transportation. As most of you well know, Hunter is an extraordinarily vibrant and compassionate 12-year-old, never allowing his extremely rare disease, SMARD, to hold him back or slow him down from living passionately, as well as in service to others. Hunter wants and deserves to continue to explore the world around him and very much wants to continue to make the lasting differences that he's made both near and far!
Hunter's family works tirelessly around-the-clock, every single day, to do all they possibly can to help meet all of his complex medical needs, and often without the support of their Insurance. Despite this being financially devastating for them, they continue to face each day with a positive, loving and hopeful attitude, never giving up! This family has been and continues to be wholly dedicated to Hunter having an equal opportunity at life, despite his physical disabilities, due to SMARD, and along with Hunter, have deeply inspired so very many.
Please know that Hunter's medical Insurance will not pay one penny of cost for Hunter's medical van, rendering the family not only responsible for vehicle replacement, but also for all of the needed medical accommodations/equipment required for this van, as well as maintenance/repairs. Total cost for this van and all needed medical accommodations is estimated at $65,000. Please help us help Hunter and his family with the massive expenses involved in getting him a new medical van outfitted for his needs!!
