Taka was a victim of a house fire.   He was able to escape and made it to the doorstep of a neighbor.  He was brought to Care More Animal Hospital for treatment of his injuries.   Taka is in critical condition and has a very long road ahead of him.  He was taken to The University of Georgia Veterinary Hospital were he received treatment for a short time.  He is back at his regular vet hospital now.  Taka is blind from the fire and will need extensive surgeries to his eyes and possibly to other areas of his face.  It’s still too early to tell the true extent of his injuries.   We are staying positive but realistic in his treatment and want to offer him the best care.  He has been through hell and he deserves a chance.
