Medical help needed for Corey

Corey Kimmel's story started in 2007. He had a non-cancerous golf ball sized tumor removed from his cerebellum and was able to recover quickly enough. At the time, there were no other worries or problems. Annual check-ups to monitor him kept things in check until the December 2014 annual check-up. At that point, there were several more tumors found. After much research and testing, the diagnosis was a very, very rare disease known as hemangioblastomatosis. In fact, Corey is only the 15th person on record diagnosed with this disease. I guess you could say he does things to the extreme!
However, to make a long story short, although his tumors may not be cancerous, they are aggressive tumors that can't be stopped, nor do they respond well to treatment. They have taken over his brain and spine. Two brain surgeries, radiation of brain and spine, 4 shunts, and a spinal surgery later, this disease has taken over, and Corey is no longer able to walk.
Corey is a Navy Veteran who served 8 years for our country and, through all of this, he has remained strong, positive, and has beaten many challenges! Unfortunately, however, at this point, we are no longer able to move him without assistance.
We are creating an effort to try and help raise the funds to provide one of the tools necessary to be able to give him a better quality of life and be able get to appointments without adding any more stress to all involved, but especially to Corey. In addition to the many other medical expenses this brought with it, a wheelchair van is an absolute necessity to transport Corey to his various appointments and any help you can give towards its purchase, or any other necessary equipment, would be greatly appreciated!
