Israel Hoagland # WaterProtector

Donation protected
Hello my name is Terri . I am half Southern Cheyenne and Half Choctaw Native . I have been active in defending Native  struggles since the age of 10  when my mother traveled with my four brothers and I on the longest walk in 1978.  I learned and experienced the power that the walks and gatherings can hold for each of us. My oldest brother called it the University of all universities.  Israel is a  Construction  laborer and I am a Tribal  Archaeology  monitor.

The project we were both working on ended in Oct . and we decided to travel to Standing  Rock  Oceti Sakowin Camp . We had heard their land and water was being threatened by the Dakota access pipeline.

We have participated in  ceremonies actions and in providing transportation for water protectors to the front line and for personal and medical appointments.

On Sunday, November 20 Israel was injured on the front line by 2 inch rubber bullets to the back and head. It required 17 staples to close his head wound.

We truly appreciate any donations toward his medical expenses. We plan on continuing our work here and  we are committed to the end . Thank  you everyone . Aho ...

Israel had 17 staples put in as shown in this photo.
