Medical expenses/care for rescue horse, Monte

Kathy Gilbert, President of dog rescue, Waldo’s Muttley Crew Animal Rescue in Indiana happened upon Monte, a very neglected horse, on her drive one day.  She knew she had to do something, as turning a blind eye (not Kathy’s nature) was not an option.  You see, Monte had very little human contact for 10 years and was horribly neglected.  For 10 long years, people drove by him and did nothing.  Then, one fateful day, Kathy was made to see him and his suffering.  She did something.  It took awhile, but she finally convinced the owners to relinquish him so that he could be made whole again and remember what it was like to be a horse and feel human touch.  He finally received his freedom ride on Sunday, September 29th.  On his path to recovery, Kathy has incurred many medical expenses which she has gladly paid out of her own pocket.  However, she cannot afford to keep this up indefinitely.  Please consider donating for this beautiful soul who wants to live and deserves every chance to recover.
