Medical Care for Misty Mae

If just 60 people can donate $20 each, we can come together to give Misty Mae the medical care she needs!

Several weeks ago, a senior, blind long-haired Chihuahua was found in a beat-up dog carrier on a bench in Westport’s Winslow Park.  How she got there or how long she had been there was a mystery but it was clear she had been abandoned.

To make matters worse, the sweet, quiet, 10-12 year old “Misty Mae” had been left at a time when she most needed her people or family. Although she has been adopted by Westport Animal Shelter Associates (WASA) as part of their foster family, she awaits expensive medical care to prepare to find a forever home.

Misty Mae’s immediate medical care will cost WASA approximately $1,200. If just 60 people can donate $20 each, we can come together to give Misty Mae the medical care she needs. As a community, we can be her people.
