Help Felix get Radiation Therapy to fight Cancer

My little cousin Felix Salas just turned 20 years old  on June 28th but instead of celebrating leaving his teenage years behind, he is recovering from his 3rd surgery since March when he found out he has a type of cancer called Myxoid Liposarcoma, where tumors grow in the bodys soft-tissue. 



Felix works in Louisiana and sends money to his mom, dad, brothers and sisters in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.  This means that he has braced these surgeries and recoveries alone in Louisiana away from home, that his immediate family has lost a source of income, and that they arent able to contribute for any of his treatments.

Most recently, doctors informed us that since the surgeries did not eliminate the cancer, their next plan is Radiation Therapy for 6 weeks , which as any cancer treatment is incredibly expensive (anywhere from $10,000-$50,000) . During this time Felix has to stay in a hotel room because its dangerous for him to be around other people due to the radiation. Besides these costs, Felix still has to worry about the cost of the surgeries he already had. 

We have raised what we can within our family for the first couple of tests and contributed for a surgery but the expenses have gotten overwhelming for our humble family and we are not sure if we will be able to get him the treatment he needs to save his life. 

This is why we decided to reach out to our community to ask for help in making sure he can get the treatment. My cousin has grown into a wonderful young man who always does his best to help others, so please consider helping him now in this time of need if you are able to.

Mi primo Felix acaba de cumplir 20 años el 28 de junio, pero en vez de celebrar, él se está recuperándose de su tercera cirugía desde marzo cuando se dio cuenta que tiene un tipo de cáncer que se llama Myxoid Liposarcoma en el cual crecen tumores en la piel. 

Felix trabaja en Louisiana y le manda dinero a su familia en San Luis Potosí, México. Esto significa que Felix ha estado solo en Louisiana durante este tiempo tan difícil, las operaciones y las recuperaciones. 

Recientemente, los doctores nos informaron que Felix va a necesitar Tratamiento de Radiación por 6 semanas, que como cualquier otro tratamiento de cáncer es muy caro (entre $10,000 a $50,000). Aparte del tratamiento, Felix tiene que quedarse en hotel porque es peligroso que el este cerca de otras personas por la radiación, y todavia pagar las cirugias que ya tuvo. 

Entre nuestra familia, hemos juntado el dinero que pudimos, pero los pagos ya son bastantes y no completamos. Tememos que no vamos a poder proporcionar el tratamiento que necesita Felix para salvarle la vida. 

Por eso aquí hicimos esta cuenta para preguntarles a ustedes, nuestra comunidad si pueden ayudar. Cualquier cantidad será muy muy agradecida para ayudar a Felix. Mi primo ha crecido a ser un muchacho maravilloso que ha hecho nuestra familia orgullosa. Felix es un muchacho que tiene como objetivo ayudar a otros, entonces les pedimos que consideren ayudarle a él en su tiempo de necesidad y tambien que rezen por el para que pudar superar este cancer.
