Medical Bills for Deputy Cassie Defoor

The Sheriff's Auxiliary Unit of the Pickens County Georgia Sheriff's Office is a 501c3 non profit.  We are starting this GoFund Me campaign on behalf of our Deputy Cassie Defoor, a young single Mom and outstanding Law Enforcement Officer.  Cassie is in a fight for her life, arising from complications that arose during a relatively routine surgical procedure Thursday, February 21.  During the procedure a tear occurred in her Aorta, causing her to bleed out in the O/R.  She was transfused, given CPR, and revived.  In total she has received 40 units of blood, and has been on ByPass and Ventilator since.  Cassie is in a medically induced coma.  As Cassie fights for her life her medical bills are rapidly rising.  Would you please consider making a donation to her, and would you also keep Cassie, her young son, and her family in your prayers.  Because of Cassie's medical condition she cannot act as her own beneficiary.  Her mother, and guardian, Brenda Negrete has been appointed as the beneficiary for this campaign.
