Medical assistance for WWII veteran

Donation protected
Clarence Studyvin is a WWII and Korean War Veteran, living in Derby, KS.  In Januray 2016, Clarence had surgery to reconstruct his hip replacement he had gotten several years ago.  Due to his age and damage caused by the previous replacement, he was told his hip may not stay in place, and there was no other surgery they could do to fix it, because they had almost lost him during this procedure.  Since then he has been battling, to get healthy again, with multiple visits in and out of the hospital.  He is now on oxygen 100%, and his hip has come out of place 6 times in the last two months.  The orthopedic doctors have decided there is nothing they can do for Clarence's hip, so he is now in a brace full-time and 100% wheelchair bound.  Clarence has always been a busy, hard working, indpendent man, and still tries to do what he can at home.  His wife Ruenell takes care of him full-time, with limited help from home health care.  She has recently hurt her back trying to push his wheelchair around their house, and lift him in and out of bed, and is now in physical therapy herself.  Clarence has grandkids in the area who, stop by daily to do household chores, give him a shower, and help with meals.  They are in need of a lighter wheelchair, and a stair lift, to help get Clarence in and out of the house for doctors visits.  We are trying to raise money to help with the medical supplies, so Clarence can remain in his home with his family.  The earliest we can get the stair lift installed is Nov. 4, so we are trying to raise the money to pay for it by then.  We appreciate any and all the help we can give to our grandparents!
