Medical Assistance for Karl

Karl is a 5-year old child with congenital neurological problems and global developmental delays. He is one of three kids to a single mom in the Philippines. The mom has no steady source of income having been limited by caring for her two kids with special needs -- the eldest with seizure disorder and Karl, the youngest, with developmental delays.
Karl needs to be seen by therapists to give him the opportunity to learn how to walk and talk. He has also been in and out of the hospital because of pneumonia so the family has been having a hard time paying for his medicines.
The mom is a hardworking lady who is a street vendor. There are times when she would bring Karl along with her in an old stroller even when it is raining. She has gone to many government agencies in her area and was able to get some assistance but not everything is covered.
