Medical Assistance for Chris

Asking for prayers and any assistance possible for Chris, his wife, and two little boys. Chris was admitted to the ER on Wednesday with a platelet count of 4,000. The normal range is between 150,000 and 450,000. He was admitted and given a high dose of steroid and platelet transfusion, which raised his levels temporarily, but the numbers are declining again. Doctors are unsure why this is happening, and additional testing is ongoing. It is also unknown at this time when he will be able to return home to his family. 

Chris and his wife are both teachers and have two young boys who love everything outdoors and baseball. In this confusing and scary time, we will all continue to trust in the Lord and will be praying for wisdom and guidance for the medical team involved, and peace and comfort for the family.
