Medical and Financial help for Shae

As we all know, life can turn on you in an instant.  This has happened to a sweet woman I went to school with.  Shae Allen was experiencing pain in her left hip and lower back that started on the 18th of December.  At that time, the pain was intermittent and somewhat tolerable, but by Tuesday she was losing feeling in her leg and the pain she was experiencing was debilitating. She went to urgent care and they sent her to the ER, where she was eventually sent home. She returned to the ER in less than 24 hours where  an MRI was ran and a very large cyst/mass was found on Shae's spine.  She is told the cyst is called a Tarlov cyst and it is on her L5-S3 and wrapping around her S1-S3. According to the radiology department and all of her doctors and the neurosurgeon, this is the biggest of these types of cysts they have ever seen. This is making surgery difficult.  At first, she could get no one to say to the surgery. She could suffer long term loss of several motor skills, it's a life changing decision.  There is now a doctor that has agreed to the surgery, but she has to have some other test done first.  The surgery will not be done, however, for a week or two.  Shae is not working right now, she is supposed to start a new job on January 2.  She has no insurance and needs help.  Her first battle is going to be her outpatient prescribed medication.  She can not afford them, but needs them to go home for now until the surgery can be done. Also, she has no income right now at all.

Shae is a single Mom with an 11 year old daughter and a 17 year old son.  She also has a 24 year old son not living at home. I know we all just got through Christmas, but any little bit will help. This could happen to any of us.  Shae had to spend Christmas in the hospital with so many unanswered questions and I am sure an immeasurable amount of fear.  Please, give what you can, and if you can not give, Pray.  Thank You all and God Bless.
