Meaningful Makeovers by RESA 2017

Hello! These funds are being requested by Amanda Carlson of Amanda Carlson Interiors | The Interior Maven Blog. I am this year's President of the Greater Nashville Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) and am happy to announce our charity we are working with this fall. Our umbrella name is Meaningful Makeovers for any charity work we do and here is our recipient for this year:

This month, September, RESA Greater Nashville will begin a makeover for the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home (TBCH) cottages located in Brentwood, TN. TBCH is a nonprofit organization that provides residential placement and foster care for children in crisis.

After our chapter made several visits to the campus, we committed to making over 8 bedrooms that about 24 girls cycle through while living at TBCH, as well as 3 communal living areas in the houses there. In order to complete the project, 12 local RESA members are donating our time and talents to this exciting project.

Here is where we need more help from the community to make these rooms special for these children - FUNDS. Amanda Carlson Interiors is in charge of the makeover of 1 of the 8 girls’ bedrooms and the covered porch of one of the cottages.

Sherwin Williams has partnered with us to have all the paint we need to paint all of the rooms, but we still need to buy our own painting supplies. We are donating our time, decorating talents and money, but we always need more. I am putting the total needed at $1000, but we could always use more to cover all of the rooms and the boys’ cottages/rooms that we have planned for next year.

(1) large outdoor rug:  $300
(2) outdoor chairs with cushion: $150/each
(1) outdoor loveseat/sofa with cushion: $300

(1) outdoor coffee table: $150
(2 sets) outdoor lights: $30/each

**Please note: Due to us each attempting to raise money for our spaces through our company, we are not equipped to issue donation receipts through a GoFund Me donation. If you or your organization would like to donate a large lump sum and receive a receipt, please email me.
