The NGAP Scholarship Fund

I'm Arrington Mason-Callaway, a senior Chemistry major, Mathematics minor at Morehouse College, and I am the President of The Next Great American Poet, Inc. (NGAP), a student-run organization founded at Morehouse College. We have a dual mission of enhancing the educational experience of high school scholars through artistic expression, while fostering the creative talents of young men and women in the Atlanta University center. NGAP holds weekly open mics, showcases, and workshops to encourage and celebrate the artistic talents of youth.

In keeping with this mission, NGAP holds an annual scholarship poetry contest and banquet. The purpose of this event is to promote student achievement, provide students with an arena to express themselves artistically, provide funds to further educational endeavors, and to facilitate positive, creative, and artistic activities to the student community. The top three place winners will be awarded a scholarship to use towards the advancement of their education. We will be holding our 11th semi-annual scholarship poetry contest on November 2016.  We are in the process of raising money for the scholarship, and we kindly ask for your donation, to help defray the cost of this historic and unique day for Morehouse College, and the Atlanta University Center as a whole. Thank you in advance for your support and consideration!
