MCAT and Med School Applications

I'm 3/4 done with my undergraduate degree in biology, which means its time to take the MCAT! I've been financially on my own for the past 6 months - after coming out to my family - and things haven't been easy, but I've been okay. The goal of this fundraiser is to cover the expenses of taking the MCAT ($320), test prep ($150), and application fees (~$80 a school x 8 schools... about $600). I plan on taking the exam in April following the first half of my Organic Chemistry lab, and prepping thoroughly with a study group on campus. 

Not having my family to fall back on strengthened my belief in the hospitality of others. It's why I have no reservations in asking distant friends and even strangers for help getting into medical school.
